Cytodiagnostics Turbobeads are magnetic metallic iron nanoparticles coated with a carbon layer and further conjugated with either Protein A, biotin or streptavidin.

Due to small size, and the metallic form that results in high magnetization (three times higher than standard iron oxide based particles) these beads can be used for rapid purification and separation in magnetic immunoprecipitation protocols.
