The vial(s) contains CdSxSe1-x/ZnS core/shell fluorescent nanocrystals with COOH functional ligands.
Features
Unlike traditional quantum dots, emission wavelength is tunable by composition rather than size.
Proprietary surface passivation and ligand technology isolates the core from oxygen and harmful ions that can degrade quantum dot performance over time.

Storage & Stability
The nanocrystals should be stored in the dark at 4
o
C. The shelf life is approximately one year under these conditions.
The nanocrystals can be diluted into any buffered solution with a pH between 6.0-9.0 and an ionic strength of 160mM or less.
Outside of this pH range, and at higher salt concentrations, the nanocrystals may aggregate. If aggregation occurs due to too high or low pH, adjusting the pH back into the specified range with 1M NaOH or 1M HCl followed by sonication (approximately 10 seconds, three times, vortexing between sonications) redisperses the nanocrystals.
