The vials contain CdSxSe1-x/ZnS core/shell fluorescent nanocrystals with NH2 functional ligands.

Storage & Stability

The nanocrystals should be stored in the dark at 4oC. The shelf life is approximately one year under these conditions.

The nanocrystals can be diluted into any buffered solution with a pH between 5.0-7.0 and an ionic strength of 160mM or less.
 
Outside of this pH range, and at higher salt concentrations, the nanocrystals may aggregate. If aggregation occurs due to too high pH, adjust the pH back into the specified range with 1M HCl followed by sonication (approximately 10 seconds, three times, vortexing between sonications) redisperses the nanocrystals.
