Our carboxyl terminated gold nanorods are ideal for use in applications that require conjugation of proteins or other ligand to the nanorod surface using standard EDC/NHS chemistry. See "Covalent Conjugation of Proteins to Cytodiagnostics Gold Nanoparticles" for a recommended starting protocol.
